The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
- You are the contact person for several multinational clients (5 to 6 clients in your portfolio)
- You have proficient knowledge in Dutch GAAP and have experience in converting USGAAP or IFRS to Dutch GAAP
- You make the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns
- You assist project managers
- You monitor junior team members
- Assist with the preparation of tax calculations and returns according to local rules
- You will advise clients in matter of tax, general business, acquisitions, etc
- You have several years of experience in Statutory Accounting & Tax requirements on an international level
- Ideally you have experience in a BIG 4 or Accountancy/audit firm or you have a solid experience in a company (industry) with an international activity or Shared Service Centre
- You have a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in accounting, audit or tax
- You have a critical and analytical mind backed with European GAAP (Dutch) and/or US GAAP/IFRS knowledge
- You have a client-service mindset
- You have a positive mindset and you are committed
- You can coach and motivate other team members
- You speak fluent Dutch and English
