Assistant accountant

For a well-known company active in the automotive sector, we are looking for an assistant accountant to join the team of 3 people. Are you looking for a varied job in accounting-support? Tasks:

• You will forward incoming invoices to the Shared Service Centre abroad
• You will upload outgoing invoices
• You will process different expenses
• You check the bankruptcy-lists
• You will prepare the payment files
• You send out reminders to customers
• You follow up the customer and supplier accounts in the system and make sure all data is correct
• You handle reminder letters of suppliers
• You will follow up different aspect of the daily accounting with the SSC
• You are in contact with the collection agency
• You will handle the mailbox and help with ad hoc projects in accounting

Profile:

• You have a degree in accountancy
• Are you just graduated and looking for a first job, or do you already have experience? Both is possible!
• You are IT-minded and you can work in a structured manner
• You are result-oriented and accurate
• You are open to continuous improvement
• You are fluent in English, and you speak Dutch or French as well
