An international organisation in Berchem is looking for a driven Junior GL accountant. Do you have a Bachelor degree in Accounting and looking for a job within a dynamic and growing organisation? In this role you will provide support to the senior accountants and assist on the accounting of several entities.
The Junior GL Accountant will be responsible for:
- Record journal entries on a timely basis
- Record the necessary accruals and interests on IC loans
- Perform vendor/customer balance reconciliations
- Perform bank account postings and reconciliations.
- Monthly reconciliations of other balance sheet accounts
- Ensure all business policies and processors are followed in order to comply with internal controls, segregation of duties, delegation of authority.
- Assisting in audit process.
- Any ad hoc project or process request.
Profile of Junior GL Accountant:
- Bachelor degree in accounting
- A first experience in accounting is a plus, but no must
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Good experience with Excel is a must
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is considered a plus
- Experience within a multi-cultural environment is a plus
