One of our clients, specialized in redevelopment, repositioning, and management of hospitality projects, is looking for an Accountant to join a team of 7 people. The company is located in the center of Brussels. You would join the ‘develop team’ and play a major role in the future of this growing company.
Your tasks as Accountant would include:
- Manage all accounting transactions from A – Z: Purchases, Sales, Journal Entries, depreciations, accruals, Usufruct repayment, Financial statements via bank CODA
- Prepare the payment batch and send approval request to the CFO
- Prepare the payments via Isabel tools (Weekly batch + daily urgent payments)
- Prepare the daily bank position file to be send to CFO each morning
- Prepare the Annual VAT listing
- Monthly and quarterly VAT report filling + refund request to Vat Authorities
- Prepare ad hoc reconciliation of accounting figures in Excel
- Support senior manager and CFO in strategic matters and consolidated reports.
Ideal profile:
- An Accounting Degree
- Experience with Analytic accounting, and experience/expertise in financial reporting
- Self-starter, problem solver with analytical and strategic mindset
- Independent and well-organized when working across diverse tasks
- Initiative, proactive and result-oriented approach to work
- Strong Excel skills
- Team player with an international mindset and intercultural skills
- Strong communication skills in internal and external settings
- Excellent level in English and French (professional proficiency). Fluent in Dutch is a plus
