AP/GL Accountant

For an international company located near the highway in Zaventem, we are looking for a motivated AP/GL Accountant that looking for a varied and challenging new job with an international touch. You will work for a market leader in his sector, together in a team of 7 people. Do you speak fluently English, and are you motivated to work in accounting? Don’t hesitate to apply!

Tasks:

• You support the finance manager in daily accounting and financial controls, procedures, reporting and compliance
• You will handle the general ledger
• You allocate the bank statements
• You prepare the monthly closings
• You handle the fixed assets accounting
• You perform the VAT declaration, together with the regional finance managers
• You are responsible for account reconciliations
• You support the audit process
• You support the AP manager, and you are able to process accounts payable A-Z if the AP manager is absent

Ideal Profile:

• You have a degree in accounting, finance or economics
• You have a first experience in accounting (AP and / or GL)
• Experience in IFRS is a plus
• You like to work in a fast paced environment, and you like to multi-task
• You are hands-on, and you have a can-do attitude
• You are analytical, and a real teamplayer
• You have a good sense of humour
