Junior Accountant with company car

A new Junior Accountant job has just become available for a dynamic and international company in Diegem. You will be in charge of A to Z accounting of the company.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Monthly and quarterly closings, general ledger accounting, accounts payable and handling bank transactions.
• You will also be responsible for overseeing the timesheet administration of billable consultants, making sure that all billable hours are accurately tracked.
• You will manage the project life cycle form accounting point of view, which includes project accounting, revenue recognition, billing and following up on any outstanding receivables.
• You will prepare monthly financial reports and ensure that internal controls are in place to maintain compliance with SOX requirements.
• You act as a contact point for both internal, external auditors prepare legal reporting, including statutory accounts, and VAT returns.

Profile of ideal Junior Accountant:

• You have a first working experience in Finance
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• You are fluent in English and French, and have a good knowledge of Dutch
• You work accurately
• You have an analytical
• You work accurate and independent
