Accountant

For an international company located in Berchem we’re looking for a proactive Accountant to join the team of 3 accountants. Do you have experience in accounting? Do you aspire a responsible job within a dynamic and growing organisation? Then keep on reading.

The Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assist the financial team in the daily accounting tasks (financial journals, purchase invoices,…)
• Back-up of other accountants
• Controlling and administrating the expense note application
• Controlling, recording the R&D capitalization
• Preparing and recording monthly accruals
• Preparing payments in Isabel
• Recharging costs to intercompany parties
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing
• Preparing various VAT declarations on monthly and quarterly basis.

Profile of ideal Accountant:

• You have obtained a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy
• You have a first experience in accountancy
• You have good IT skills
• You are fluent in Dutch & English
• You are accurate, flexible and stress resistant
• You are a team player
• You are eager to learn and have an analytical mindset
