For an international company with roots in the USA, but located in Leuven, we are looking for an experienced GL Accountant. They are a renowned player in the industrial sector, with branches all over the world. The company offers a great work-life balance, and modern, spacious offices. Tasks:
- You will perform month-end closings
- You are responsible for reconciliations (according to SOX guidelines)
- You follow up GL accounts
- You analyse variances
- You perform accounting analysis for P&L, inventory, balance sheet and foreign exchange.
- You give support the internal and external Audit.
- You assist in tax declarations
- You prepare the revenue recognition
Profile:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or economy
- You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- You have good knowledge of BE GAAP principles
- You are analytical, a teamplayer, motivated and you respect deadlines
- You speak fluently English, and you also have an understanding of Dutch
- You are hands on and pro-active
- Experience with Oracle or US GAAP is a plus, but no must
