VAT Accountant

For an international company active in the medical sector and located in the region of Aalst, we’re currently looking for a VAT Accountant to re-enforce the team. Are you a freshly graduate or do you already have experience in accounting and are you looking for new function in VAT

Your tasks as VAT Accountant:

• You’re responsible for the preparation of the monthly reconciliations of all VAT-accounts
• You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• You prepare annual statutory accounts
• You’re the contact person for VAT related questions
• You participate in optimisation processes within accounting and finance

The ideal profile:

• You obtained a bachelor degree within accounting
• A first experience in accounting is a plus but no must
• You have a strong interest in VAT
• You're fluent in English. Knowledge of Duch or other languages is a plus
• You're pro-active, communicative and stress ressistant
