Temporary Accounts Payable Employee

For an international company, active in the food industry & located in Zaventem, we are looking for an extra employee in the accounts payable team for 6 months (with a possibility of an extension). Your tasks as a temporary Accounts Payable employee:

You will be working closely with the other colleagues of the accounting team for a temporary project of 6 months and daily you will report to the Accounting Manager. As a team you are responsible for the Accounts Payable of the EMASA region:

• You encode the invoices of the suppliers that comes in via different channels and make sure they are handled correctly
• Daily you will do the preparation of the payments and make sure the banks are booked
• You are the person of contact for the suppliers
• When they have questions regarding their invoices
• To ask for the right PO-number per order
• You make sure that the data of each supplier is correctly adjusted in the system
• You will help with ad hoc project in accounting & general administration tasks

The ideal profile as a temporary Accounts Payable employee:

• You are quickly available for a temporary mission of 6 months (with the possibility of an extension)
• You have an accounting background or a first experience in a similar role
• You are fluent in English as this is the language used for the internal communication. Any other languages are a plus!
• With an assertive and positive mentality, you will be an asset for the AP-team
• You can work on an independent level but ask the right questions when needed
