General Ledger Accountant (temporary)

The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for:

• You have a big role in the month-end close process, including reviewing and preparing monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Works closely with other departments/operations across the organization to provide financial insight and assistance
• Support internal and external auditors and responsible for preparing / reviewing supporting schedules and notes
• Manage tax related matters including VAT related issues
• Identifies and implement best practices to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of processes, including ongoing development and improvement of controls

Profile of ideal General Ledger Accountant:

• Ability to analyze complex processes and determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the process and related controls
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within finance
• Bachelor in accounting and /or relevant accounting professional certification
• English knowledge is necessary
• Strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence
• Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
