Junior AP Accountant

One of our clients active in the chemical sector is looking for a Junior AP Accountant to join a team of 5 dynamic accountants. The company is located in the South of Brussels and is easily accessible by public transport.

As Junior AP Accountant you will contribute to the management of the following tasks:

Match and process supplier and inter-company invoices in SAP with orders.

• Codify and process expense reports, freight invoices, etc.
• Solve invoice and payment equations by reviewing and monitoring the accounts payable aging list
• Make batch and manual payments to suppliers
• Responsible for the design to implementation, organization and management of all company activities
• Facilitate accounts receivable processes in conjunction with credit control to ensure timely clearing and allocation of payments received from customers on behalf of Lubrizol's Belgian entities
• Support the financial reporting process
• Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls

Profile of the Junior AP Accountant:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• Fluent in English written & spoken. Knowledge of French or Dutch is preferred
• Knowledge/experience with SAP is an asset
• Good literacy with MS Office tools (Excel, Work, Outlook)
