Ambitious Accountant

A leading company in the high-tech medical sector located in Walloon Brabant is looking for an Ambitious Accountant. In an important phase of its development and the launch of a new innovative solution, this company is looking for a candidate who wants to be part of this major project. Your ability to adapt and your analytical mind are important assets.

As an Ambitious Accountant, your tasks will include:

• You are in charge of general accounting including AP/AR and aged balance follow-up
• You will prepare monthly and annual closings for Belgium and foreign entities
• You will participate in the preparation of VAT returns
• You will handle intercompany reconciliations
• You will work on ad hoc investment and tax projects
• You will assist with various internal control projects

Ideal profile for the Ambitious Accountant role:

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant experience
• You have several years' experience in consultancy or an equivalent role
• You have experience in analytical accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS is an asset
• Knowledge of Exact software is an asset
• Professional proficiency of French and English. Another language is a plus
