Junior Actuary – Company Car

A company specialized in wealth advising is currently recruiting for an Actuary (or similar qualification) to join the Wealth Team in Brussels. You will be part of a dynamic team of actuaries. It is a long-term contract.

As Junior Actuary you will be responsible of the following tasks:

• Support your client team on project management, day-to-day client contact, problem resolution, and supervision of analysts’ work
• Calculate and analyse special retirement like Br21/23 conversion.
• Interact with clients by participating in meetings and presentations
• Assign, direct, and evaluate work
• Create project work plans and monitor timelines and budgets
• Check and analyse actuarial valuation results, including analysis of census data, liabilities, assets and reporting, coordinating local office resources and project management

Ideal profile of the Junior Actuary:

• Master's degree in Math, Physics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or related field
• Successful client-relationship experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Superior analytical ability
• You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch or French and English
• At least 2 years of actuarial work experience preferably in a consulting environment
