Credit Collector

For an international company in Vilvoorde, specialised in construction and mining equipment we are looking for a credit collector to join a team of 6 motivated colleagues. Are you strong in communication, do you have feeling with numbers and are you looking for a job in an international environment where no day is the same as the day before? Don’t hesitate to apply!

Tasks:

• You evaluate incoming letters of credit
• You review the documentation that comes with new credit requests
• You update the credit risk follow up files
• You follow up incoming payments
• You report daily about the credit status of the clients
• You are in contact with distributors about overdues, and inform them about available credit lines
• You prepare month end tasks and reports, and the forecast as well
• You prepare for SOX reporting for the credit department

Profile:

• You have a degree in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent by experience
• You are process-minded, autonomous and assertive
• You are pro-active, accurate and organised
• You like to work in a multicultural environment
• You are fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
• You have a decent knowledge of Excel
• You have a first relevant experience in the field of credit collection
