Credit and Collection Analyst

One of our clients active in the chemical sector is looking for a Credit and Collection Analyst to join a team of 5 people. The company is located in the South of Brussels and is easily accessible by public transport.

As Credit and Collection Analyst you will contribute to the management of the following tasks:

• Assess the worthiness and set credit limits for new or existing customers
• Identify and collect overdue accounts to minimize outstanding debts
• Review and release orders on credit hold, conducting collection calls, information and feedback to Customer Service Representatives and Sales staff
• Manage credit terms according to corporate guidelines, validate the relevant ones and ensure their consistency
• Prepare monthly A/R reports and analysis for senior management
• Adhere to corporate directives and apply the appropriate procedures in Europe

Profile of the Credit and Collection Analyst:

• 1-2 years relevant work experience in the area of credit control, preferably in an international environment
• Written and spoken command of English, knowledge of other European languages is an asset
• Proficiency with MS Tools, and some knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Analytical, problem-solving and result oriented
• Customer oriented, with good communication skills
• ‘Hands-on’ mentality and team player
