Part-time Finance Administrator with homeworking

A new opportunity as Finance Administrator has just been made available in an international law firm located in the centre of Brussels on a part-time basis of 4 days a week. As a Finance Administrator, you will be working in a team with 1 other colleague.

As a Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for:

• The liaison with bank and manage bank accounts, signatories etc, as well as bank reconciliation
• AP, AR and credit collections
• Controlling of payment batches
• Client billing, as well preparation of invoices for self-employed lawyers
• Processing of payroll administration (output from external provider)
• Application of Belgian tax rules (coordination with external accountants)
• VAT administration and reporting
• Monthly closure of accounts
• Annual budget and rolling forecast
• Cash flow forecasts

The ideal profile of the Finance Administrator:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/management/accounting
• 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Work experience in a law firm or in a consultancy firm is a strong asset
• The knowledge of 3E(Elite) is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of English and French
• Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office tools; tech-savvy
• Exemplary planning and time management skills; adaptable to various competing demands
• Able to demonstrate absolute discretion and confidentiality towards colleagues, clients and external relations
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to build rapport
