Payroll and Comp & Ben Specialist

A new exciting opportunity as Payroll and Comp & Ben Specialist has just become available in an international company in the logistic sector. You will manage the entire chain of hard HR topics and take on other topics as you grow. This company is located in Antwerp. You will be part of the HR department, work side by side with the Payroll and HR Officer and you will report to the HR Manager.

As Payroll and Comp & Ben Specialist you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Being responsible for an efficient payroll closure for both Belgian and European employees in cooperation with our social secretary (Attentia);
• Being co- responsible for the compensation & benefits of the employees (including international); from bonuses, fleet management (cars & E-bike) to insurances and other possible fringe benefits
• Setting up the Headcount and HR budget together with our Finance Department and suggesting improvements where possible.
• Managing opening of new subsidiaries across Europe and ensure a harmonized work method and similar suppliers/partners.
• Co-Acting as the point of contact for any inquiries about the payroll and HR administrative related concerns, both for all employees (Belgian & European- only white collars).
• Continuously advising HR team based on your knowledge of current labour, social & tax laws and regulations in order to improve our best practices.
• Actively participating in cross-sectional projects where HR advice is needed.

The Ideal Profile of the Payroll and Comp & Ben Specialist:

• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
• You have at least 10 years of experience with payroll.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken and a fair knowledge of French.
• You have a positive attitude and are solution oriented
• You can work smoothly in a team, but you also have the necessary maturity and autonomy to independently complete your priorities
• You work purposefully and accurately, even under time pressure and this within a complex and rapidly changing environment
• You are eager to learn and always look for ways to carry out the work better and more efficiently.
