HR Manager Part-Time (60%)
An exciting new opportunity as HR Manager has just become available at one of our clients, an international yet human-sized association located in the city centre. In this role as HR Manager Part-Time (60%), you will report to the Secretary General while supporting the Management Team and the internal staff. You will lead the HR processes around talent management, performance evaluation and compensation, while providing strategic HR advice to the Management Team, and translating the changes in social legislation into the company policies and procedures.
As HR Manager Part-Time (60%) you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Recruitment & Selection: lead the recruitment and selection process, work closely with the Management team to ensure the right resources are in place
- Training: support the Management Team with the induction and training process, create learning and development programs and initiatives to ensure development opportunities for staff
- Evaluations: work closely with the Management Team to ensure constructive and timely performance reviews
- Business Partner: provide strategic HR advice and support to the Management Team and employees regarding employee relations, policies, best practices, etc.
- Compensation & Benefits: oversee the daily administration, analyse trends, assist with conducting salary survey and benchmarking
- Social legislation: maintain compliance with Belgian social law and regulations, review policies and practices where necessary
- Other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
The Ideal Profile of the HR Manager Part-Time (60%):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field
- Previous strategic and operational HR experience (2 to 5 years min.)
- An excellent level of spoken and written English and French
- High level communication skills, including drafting written documents, proofreading documents and verbal communication skills demonstrating accuracy and reliability
- Ability to quickly and proactively identify the HR needs, as well as critical issues and deal with them, or escalate appropriately
- A positive can-do attitude - delivering consistently to deadlines and reacting positively to changes and conflict
- Willingness to be hands-on with day-to-day operational requirements
- A solutions and client focused skillset
- Strong understanding of the Belgian labour law and a thorough knowledge of the employment-related regulations
