Buyer

For an established company in Zaventem, active in FMCG, we are looking for a motivated buyer. Are you just graduated, or do you have a first experience in a similar position? Are languages your strong suit and do you have a real commercial flair? Are you analytical and looking for your next challenge? Look no further: you are the person for this job!

The buyer will be responsible for:

- Contact with existing suppliers, and development of a trustful relationship with them
- Prospection of potential new partners through an analyse of the market
- Comparison of multiple offers and selection based on predefined criteria
- Evaluation of the market/suppliers in terms of price, quality, cost, service, innovation
- Support to senior buyers in the selection of raw materials overseas and international partners
- Help in the interpretations of reports and prediction of future sales/demand

Profile of ideal buyer:

- Bachelor or master’s in supply chain, Logistics, Economics or similar degree
- A first experience in a similar position is an asset
- Bilingual Dutch – French and very good English
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel), knowledge of SAP is an asset
- You are sociable, business-oriented, stress resistant
- You are accurate, you’re not scared to work with figures and you are analytical
