The information we collect

The personal information that we collect via this website consists essentially of your last name, first name, nationality, date of birth, home address, phone number (land line or mobile) and email address, plus your training, qualifications and professional experience. This information is gathered from the CVs that you send us by email or through forms on the website.

Our purposes in using your personal data

Your personal data is used to handle your request to register for our recruitment services, and in particular to help you in your job search and contact you for this purpose. The data also allows us to provide you with a service that is customised and adapted to your needs. With your agreement, the data can also be used so that you can receive business information and paperwork by post or email from Walters People or other offices in the group.

Communicating your personal data

In order to guarantee an effective, targeted service, we may also forward your personal data to other offices in the Robert Walters group, unless you do not wish us to do so.

As part of the recruitment process, we may also need to communicate your personal data to third parties and we must point out that in these instances we take all the necessary steps to ensure that your personal data is treated confidentially and is only used for the purposes of recruitment management on your behalf. We may also send these third party companies and/or bodies data about you in an aggregate, i.e. anonymous format, for the purposes of compiling statistics on information such as number of users, their age groups, geographical location, etc. We use this information to improve the services we offer our candidates.

Use of cookies

We may use cookies. We cannot identify you through cookies. However, they record information when your computer is used to browse our website (the pages you have viewed, date and time of viewing, etc.), which we can read each time you visit the site. Intellectual property

The overall format, the software, text, animated and still images, sounds, know-how, designs, graphics and databases produced by Walters People and all other elements of the Website are the sole property of Walters People and are protected by the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, including, without limitation, the code's provisions regarding literary and artistic property and copyright and by the "Database protection act" of 1 July 1998. Under the terms of Article L.122-5 of the Intellectual Property Code, copies or reproductions are only permitted if they are strictly reserved for private use by the copier and are not intended for collective use; analyses and brief citations are permitted if intended solely for use as examples or illustrations.

Article L.342-3 of the Intellectual Property Code only permits the extraction or use of a non-substantial portion of a database made available to the public by its owner. Therefore any unauthorised representation or reproduction of all or any part of the Website by whatsoever means is strictly forbidden and may lead to prosecution.

Any person found to be in breach of this condition may face civil and criminal action and in particular the penalties stipulated in Articles L.335-2 and L.343-1 of the Intellectual Property Code.
